CMIM Conformity Certificate
As of January 1, 2020, mandatory CMIM marking will be required for products imported into Morocco. Until now, CMIM marking was performed by the importer after the products were cleared from customs. As of January 1, 2020, CMIM marking must be done by the manufacturer before customs clearance.
CMIM marking is mandatory for all products covered by the European Union regulations 2014/35/EU Low Voltage Directive and 2014/30/EU Electromagnetic Compatibility Directive.
CMIM marking alone is not sufficient. Supporting reports, documents, and technical files must be prepared to accompany the CMIM marking.

- 1-Arabic/French Manufacturer’s Declaration of Conformity,
- 2-Test reports in accordance with relevant regulations and standards,
- 3-Technical file in accordance with relevant regulations and standards.
